  • Carl Bosch, German chemist, pioneer in the field of high-pressure industrial chemistry. Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1991
  • Octave Leopold Boudouard, French chemist who discovered the Boudouard reaction: combination of carbon and carbon dioxide to form carbon monoxide at high temperatures
