The Madison (TV series)
The Madison is an upcoming neo-Western television series created by Taylor Sheridan. It is a spin-off of Sheridan's previous series, Yellowstone and is the fifth television series in the Yellowstone franchise.
The Madison is set to premiere on March 14, 2026, on Paramount+. In August 2025, ahead of the series premiere, it was renewed for a second season.
Premise
The series follows the Clyburn family, originally from New York City, who relocate to the Madison River valley of southwest Montana for emotional recovery following a tragedy that shattered the family.Cast and characters

Production
Development
In May 2023, Paramount Network green-lit an untitled Yellowstone spin-off series with MTV Entertainment Studios, Taylor Sheridan's Bosque Ranch Productions, and 101 Studios serving as production companies. In August 2024, the series title was revealed as The Madison and Michelle Pfeiffer was announced to be starring in and executive producing the series.By August 2025, Paramount Television Studios had taken over production of the series following the merger of MTV Entertainment Studios' parent company Paramount Global with Skydance Media into Paramount Skydance. That same month, the series was renewed for a second season.
Casting
Pfeiffer was announced as a cast member on August 8, 2024. Later that month, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, and Matthew Fox were announced as cast members. Ben Schnetzer was announced as a cast member on October 15, 2024. Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack, and Danielle Vasinova were announced as cast members on December 17, 2024. Kurt Russell was announced to have joined the cast on September 5, 2025. Will Arnett was confirmed to have joined the cast in a guest role on January 18, 2026.Filming
Principal photography on the first season began in August 2024. Filming took place in Montana from September to October 2024. Scenes set in New York City were filmed in Dallas in mid-November 2024. Filming moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in late November and lasted through mid-December 2024.The second season began filming in September 2025 and later wrapped in December 2025.
