Shelby Simmons
Shelby Simmons is an American actress. She is best known for playing Ava King in Disney Channel's Bunk'd and Hillari Kimble in the Disney+ film Stargirl.
Early life
Simmons was born in Richmond, Virginia, on February 6, 2002. She began acting in school plays at a young age, including a middle-school production of Shrek, in which she played Princess Fiona.Career
Simmons was cast as Sydney Quinn in Netflix's The Prince of Peoria in April 2018. Her character is described as a straight-A with a wild side.Simmons was cast as Ava King in Bunk'd in March 2019 as a main character in seasons 4 and 5, with guest appearances in later seasons. She reprised the role in Raven’s Home.
She joined the cast of Stargirl in February 2020. She plays Hillari Kimble.
Simmons was cast as Sophia in One Stupid Thing in December 2023, based on the book of the same name.
