NGC 3327
NGC 3327 is a spiral galaxy located in Leo Minor. According to galaxy morphological classification it is classified as a type SAb galaxy. It was discovered by William Herschel on the 10th of April, 1785. He described it as "very faint, small, round, gradually brighter middle, very small star attached."
One supernova has been identified in the galaxy, 2001N. It was discovered by the Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
