Ivan and Phoebe is a 2019 novel by Ukrainian writer Oksana Lutsyshyna.

Awards and honors

The novel won the Taras Shevchenko National Prize in Literature in 2021
The Lviv UNESCO City of Literature Prize, and appeared in English translation by Nina Murray from Deep Vellum in 2023.

Background and publication

Ivan and Phoebe was first published in Ukrainian by Vydavnytstvo Staroho Leva in 2019. The English translation by poet and diplomat Nina Murray was released by Deep Vellum in June 2023.
