ISO 3166-2:RU


ISO 3166-2:RU is the entry for Russia in ISO 3166-2, part of the ISO 3166 standard published by the International Organization for Standardization, which defines codes for some of the names of the principal subdivisions of all countries coded in ISO 3166-1. ISO 3166-2:RU contains no codes for the Russian-administered Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, Sevastopol, and Zaporizhzhia, which are internationally recognized as part of Ukraine and do have codes in Ukraine's entry in ISO 3166-2.
