Formation of category representations
Formation of category representations is a scholarly work by Nicholas Moberly, published in 2006 in ''Memory and Cognition''. The main subjects of the publication include cultural evolution, theory of mind, stimulus, psychology, cognitive science, cognitive psychology, concept learning, and categorization. Many formal models of categorization assume, implicitly or explicitly, that categorization results in the formation of direct associations from representations of the presented stimuli to representations of the experimentally provided category labels.
