Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis, also known as the verge cricket, is a cricket found in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Distribution

This species is widely distributed across the Palearctic region. Its native range includes Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya,Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The species has also been introduced to Belgium and the Netherlands.
