Kyle Amendt
Kyle Richard Amendt is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.Amendt played college baseball at the Southeastern Community College and Dallas Baptist University. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the ninth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.
Amendt signed with the Diamondbacks and spent his first season with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and Visalia Rawhide. He started 2024 with the Hillsboro Hops before being promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles.

Demetrio Crisantes
Crisantes attended Nogales High School in Nogales, Arizona. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the seventh round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.
Crisantes signed with the Diamondbacks and made his professional debut in 2023 with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks. He started 2024 with the ACL Diamondbacks before being promoted to the Visalia Rawhide.
J. D. Dix
John Samuel "JD" Dix is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.Dix grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and attended Whitefish Bay High School. As a freshman, he batted.449 with 24 RBIs and 21 stolen bases. Dix committed to play college baseball at Alabama after the season. He batted.452 as a junior. Dix was selected to play in the MLB All-American Game during the following summer. He also de-committed from Alabama and flipped his commitment to Wake Forest.
Dix was selected with the 35th selection of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He signed with the Diamondbacks on July 23, 2024, and received an under-slot signing bonus of $2,150,000.
Dix made his professional debut in 2025 with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and was promoted to the Visalia Rawhide in late June.
Kohl Drake
Kohl Everett-Scott Drake is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball.Drake grew up in Sachse, Texas and attended Wylie High School in Wylie, Texas. Undrafted out of high school, he attended Arkansas Tech University to play college baseball. In his freshman season of 2019, he went 1–3 with a 6.21 ERA over innings. He transferred to San Joaquin Delta College after that season. In the COVID shortened season of 2020, Drake went 1–0 with a 2.57 ERA over 21 innings. Drake transferred to Walters State Community College ahead of the 2021 season. He produced a 9–3 record with a 3.72 ERA and 107 strikeouts over innings in 2021. Drake excelled in 2022, going 14–0 with 160 strikeouts over innings. He was named the 2022 NJCAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Year. Drake appeared in one game for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the MLB Draft League. Drake was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB draft and signed with them.
Drake split his debut season of 2023 between the ACL Rangers of the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League and the Down East Wood Ducks of the Low-A Carolina League, going a combined 2–5 with a 6.36 ERA and 55 strikeouts over innings. Drake returned to Down East to open the 2024 season, going 2–1 with a 1.67 ERA and 71 strikeouts over 43 innings. He was promoted to the Hickory Crawdads of the High-A South Atlantic League, going 5–3 with a 2.53 ERA and 57 strikeouts over innings. He was promoted to the Frisco RoughRiders of the Double-A Texas League in August.
On July 31, 2025, Drake, along with Mitch Bratt and David Hagaman, were traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for Merrill Kelly. He made four appearances down the stretch for the Triple-A Reno Aces, but struggled to a 1-2 record and 9.18 ERA with 19 strikeouts across innings pitched. On November 18, the Diamondbacks added Drake to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.

Hayden Durke
Durke attended North Vermillion High School in Maurice, Louisiana. He went unselected in the shortened 2020 Major League Baseball draft, and fulfilled his commitment to play college baseball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for the Ragin' Cajuns. As a freshman in 2021, he was named their Opening Day starter. For the season, he appeared in 14 games and went 2-3 with a 5.26 ERA. He pitched only innings as a sophomore in 2022, and entered the transfer portal after the season. He transferred to Rice University, but did not make an appearance in the 2023 season. He pitched for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League in the summers of both 2022 and 2023. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 13th round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft and signed for $350,000.
Durke made his professional debut with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks, pitching to a 9.72 ERA over seven relief appearances. He spent the 2024 season with the Visalia Rawhide and the Hillsboro Hops, going 4-1 with a 3.18 ERA, 72 strikeouts, and 45 walks over 51 innings between both teams. He was assigned back to Hillsboro to open the 2025 season and was promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles in late May. In July, he was promoted to the Reno Aces. Over 45 relief appearances between the three teams, Durke went 3-3 with a 4.22 ERA, 74 strikeouts, and 35 walks over 49 innings pitched.
Daniel Eagen
Eagen attended Fuquay-Varina High School in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and played college baseball at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. As a junior at Presbyterian in 2024, he started 14 games and went 6-2 with a 2.67 ERA and 121 strikeouts over innings. After his junior year, he was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the third round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft. He signed for $650,000.
Eagen was assigned to Arizona's Spring Breakout roster during 2025 spring training. After spring training, he was assigned to the Hillsboro Hops to make his professional debut. Over 19 starts with the Hops, Eagen went 7-5 with a 2.49 ERA and 132 strikeouts over innings. In mid-August, he was promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Over four starts with Amarillo to end the season, he went 0-3 with a 5.49 ERA over innings. After the season, Eagen was named the Northwest League Pitcher of the Year for his performance with Hillsboro. The Diamondbacks also named him their Minor League Pitcher of the Year.
Joe Elbis
On July 12, 2019, Elbis signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent. He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Elbis made his professional debut in 2021. In 12 games split between the rookie–level Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and Single–A Visalia Rawhide, he compiled a 3–3 record and 3.52 ERA with 59 strikeouts across innings pitched.
Elbis returned to Visalia in 2022, but made only 3 starts before being shut down with shoulder inflammation. He split the 2023 campaign between Visalia and the Single–A Hillsboro Hops. In 24 starts for the two affiliates, Elbis registered a 4–9 record and 3.75 ERA with 97 strikeouts over innings pitched.
In 2024, Elbis made 24 starts split between the High–A Hillsboro Hops and Double–A Amarillo Sod Poodles, compiling a 7–6 record and 3.39 ERA with 112 strikeouts across innings pitched. Following the season, the Diamondbacks added Elbis to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
Elbis was optioned to Double-A Amarillo to begin the 2025 season. He spent the entire season on the restricted list and did not appear in a game.
José Fernández
José Luis Fernández is a Venezuelan professional baseball infielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball.Fernández signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent in February 2021.
Fernández made 122 appearances for the Double-A Amarillo Sod Poodles in 2025, slashing.272/.321/.454 with 17 home runs, 80 RBI, and 12 stolen bases. On November 18, 2025, the Diamondbacks added Fernández to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
Spencer Giesting
Spencer William Giesting is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.Giesting attended Father Stephen T. Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio, and played college baseball at the University of Charlotte. During the summer of 2021, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Harwich Mariners. As a sophomore in 2022, he appeared in twenty games and went 7-4 with a 3.75 ERA over innings. After the season, Giesting was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 11th round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. Giesting signed with Arizona for $400,000.
Giesting made his professional debut that season with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks before playing with the Visalia Rawhide, pitching a total of innings between both teams. He played the 2023 season with the Hillsboro Hops, starting 24 games and going 7-4 with a 4.00 ERA and 124 strikeouts over 117 innings. Giesting opened the 2024 season with Hillsboro and was promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles in mid-June. He was named the Diamondbacks Minor League Pitcher of the Month in September. Over 25 starts between both teams, he posted a 9-10 record and 3.31 ERA with 154 strikeouts in innings. Giesting was assigned to Amarillo to open the 2025 season and was promoted to the Reno Aces in early June. He started 27 games for the season and went 8-9 with a 5.31 ERA and 131 strikeouts over innings.
