Your Face Sounds Familiar (Philippine TV series)
Your Face Sounds Familiar is a Philippine television reality competition show broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel that is based on the Spanish television series Your Face Sounds Familiar. Originally hosted by Billy Crawford and originally judged by Jed Madela, Sharon Cuneta and Gary Valenciano, it aired on the network's Yes Weekend lineup from March 14, 2015, replacing The Voice of the Philippines season 2. Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro serve as the current hosts, while Cuneta, Valenciano and Ogie Alcasid serve as the current judges.
Development
Seasons 1–4
The Philippine version was first announced by ABS-CBN on its trade show for advertisers in Rockwell Tent, Makati. In this show, 8 celebrities compete in a sing and dance number while impersonating iconic singers. In each week, the eight celebrity contestants face the "", which assigns the artists of whom they will impersonate. Each contestant presses the iconizer in the order from the last placer to the weekly winner. When the iconizer is pressed, it reveals which icon the performer must impersonate in the following week, along with a preview of the song they have to perform.The first season of the show took over the timeslot of the second season of The Voice of the Philippines, after its conclusion on March 1, 2015.
Jed Madela, Gary Valenciano and Toni Gonzaga were initially reported to serve as judges for the first season. However Gonzaga was replaced by Sharon Cuneta following Cuneta's return to ABS-CBN on March 9, 2015. Annie Quintos and Georcelle Dapat-Sy were later revealed to help the contestants in impersonating their icons with Quintos coaching the contestants for their vocals and the latter coaching the contestants for choreography.
On April 5, 2015, due to Holy Week, the Week 4 of the first season was a single-episode duet special, as Black Saturday pre-empted all special programming.
On two weekends, Gary Valenciano temporarily left the show to fulfill his commitment of performing in a series of concerts. He was substituted by Boy Abunda for the April 18–19, 2015 episodes. The same instance happened on May 16–17, 2015, and he was substituted by Vice Ganda.
On June 6, 2015, during the Grand Showdown of the first season, it was announced that the show will return for a second season in the same year, which premiered on September 12, 2015, taking over the timeslot vacated by the second season of The Voice Kids. In August 2015, Melai Cantiveros, the winner of the first season was announced to co-host the show, impersonating different icons for each week. Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano, Jed Madela and Billy Crawford were announced to return to the show to reprise their former duties.
In January 2020, ABS-CBN announced that the show will have a third season after Sharon Cuneta renewed her contract with the network. However, the plans for the third season was postponed following the implementation of the Enhanced community quarantine in Luzon in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, which prompted the network to suspend its tapings, as well as the shutdown of ABS-CBN free-to-air stations in the said year.
Also, during the Enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, the first Kids season was re-aired on the primetime slot from March–May 2020 as part of the network's temporary programming changes, taking the timeslot of second season of The Voice Teens
However, the reruns were abruptly stopped after May 3, 2020, due to the closure of ABS-CBN's free-to-air assets following the cease and desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission on account of its franchise expiration.
In December 2020, during the trade launch for 2021 held during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special, it was revealed the show will have a 3rd season, with this season being the first regular season since 2015 after two straight Kids seasons. However, due to Crawford focusing on blocktime shows on TV5, Luis Manzano replaced him as host for Season 3. The third season premiered on February 20, 2021.
On April 4, 2021, due to Holy Week, the Week 7 of the third season was originally going to have duet episodes, as Black Saturday pre-empted all regular programming. but however, as an enhanced community quarantine was reimposed in the Greater Manila Area in response to the surge of COVID-19 cases caused by the variants of the said disease, the plans for a duet episode was scrapped, and a compilation of Week 1's performances was re-aired instead.
The season's tapings resumed on April 12, 2021, following the downgrade of the enhanced community quarantine, however, Jhong Hilario withdrawn from the competition for the safety of his newborn baby, as babies are among those who are susceptible to the coronavirus. After six weeks of his withdrawn, he had 107 points, having won weeks 1 and 2.
On April 18, 2021, Geneva Cruz could not perform on the show because her mother's recent death from COVID-19 and the following three weeks this occurred after her mother was confirmed to have contracted the virus and subsequently died after the three weeks to returned from the competition and was announced to impersonate Toni Braxton on the following week instead.
On August 14, 2025, it was announced at the "Iisang Tahanan: Kapamilya Forever Trade Launch" that it will have a fourth season. Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro were named as the new hosts, replacing Luis Manzano. The fourth season in the same year, which premiered on October 4, 2025, taking over the timeslot vacated by the first season of Idol Kids Philippines. In September 2025, Jhong Hilario, the withdrawn of the third season was announced to host the show, Hilario and Navarro replaced him as hosts for Season 4. Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Ogie Alcasid were announced to return to the show to reprise their former duties.
Gary Valenciano was absent from Round 2-5 and Round 8. Mentors Klarisse de Guzman and Nyoy Volante served as the guest judges. They gave points to the celebrity performers as one.

On the November 9, 2025 episode, Marielle Montellano of JMielle was unable to perform this Round 3 and Round 4 as Regine Velasquez and Dolly Parton alongside her partner, JM Dela Cerna due to her illness. JMielle were assigned the icons Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez performing "Hanggang Ngayon". JMielle were assigned the icons Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton performing "Islands in the Stream". However, due to Marielle's illness, JM proceeded with the performance solo, impersonating Alcasid only with an alternative song. However, due to Marielle's continued absence, JM proceeded with the performance solo, impersonating Rogers only with an alternative song.
On the November 15, 2025 episode, it was announced that Pepe Herrera had withdrawn from the competition for health reasons. He left the competition with 49 points in three rounds.
Ogie Alcasid was absent from Round 7 and Round 9. Mentors Erik Santos and Karla Estrada served as the guest judges. They gave points to the celebrity performers as one.
On January 2, 2026, the current season of the show and other remaining ABS-CBN programs airing on TV5 were transferred to AMBS' ALLTV, marking its return to channels 2 and 16 in Mega Manila and regional channels previously held by ABS-CBN until 2020. This occurred after TV5 Network's decision to terminate its content partnership deal with ABS-CBN, which effectively ceased broadcasting programs produced by the latter on TV5, due to financial disputes involving blocktime fees which was subsequently settled.
On the January 3, 2026 episode, it was announced that Rufa Mae Quinto could not perform on the show because of her medical emergency. The only one Dia Maté to perform on the show with her performance of "Papi". However, a medical emergency prevented the latter from proceeding with her performance, cancelling her performance of "On the Floor".
Format
For 12 or 13 weeks, all the celebrity contestants competes for a cash prize. The contestant with the highest points per week is crowned the weekly winner, and wins the said cash prize. The top four contestants will advance to the finale and competes for the public's votes, where the artist with the most votes will be declared the winner.Each contestant impersonates a different singer each week, and performs an iconic song and dance routine well known by that particular icon. The "Iconizer" assigns icons to the contestants and can assign any icon living or dead regardless of its age, race or gender. The contestants must press the "Iconizer" at the end of every Sunday episode, in which after pressing the red button, they reveal the icon they have to impersonate in the following week, and a playback of the song assigned to them being played afterwards.
Following the end of the performances, the judges give 1-8 points to the contestants, afterwards, the contestants give 3 points to a contestant other than themself.
However, In Season 3, the format for the finale was changed wherein all remaining contestants advanced to the finale and the winner was determined via a combination of votes cast by the public and the points accumulated by the contestant.

Round length
In previous seasons of Your Face Sounds Familiar and Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, one round typically lasted one week, consisting of performances aired on Saturday and Sunday. In the current season, the duration of each round has been extended to two weeks, lasting for two consecutive weekends, with performances aired on both Saturday and Sunday.Steal
Based on "Te lo robo" from the original Spanish version of the format, the Steal allows a performer to take another performer’s assigned icon for the following week by pressing the red button during the Iconizer segment. Each performer may use this power only once throughout the season. When the Steal button is used by a performer that has already received an icon, his/her initial icon will be transferred to the performer they stole from. Else, if the stealing performer has not yet received an icon, the performer who was stolen from must press the Iconizer button again to receive a new one. It is currently unknown how this rule will apply to JMielle as they are a duo.Round 3: Pepe Herrera was the first to use his power to steal Juan Karlos Labajo from Dia Maté.Round 8: Alexa Ilacad was the second to use the power to steal Yeng Constantino from Akira Morishita, transferring her original assignment of Lisa to Akira.Round 9: Akira Morishita used the power to steal James Reid from Jason Dy, transferring his original assignment of Michael Bolton to Jason.The Iconizer button has been changed to blue following the introduction of the Steal button.
Battle of One Icon
Debuting in Round 4, the Battle of One Icon is a new mechanic in which two or more celebrity performers are assigned to impersonate the same icon but perform different songs separately. The selection is made randomly by the Iconizer.Round 4: Alexa Ilacad and Jason Dy were assigned to transform into Britney Spears. Dy was assigned the artist first with "Toxic" as the song, followed by Ilacad with "I'm a Slave 4 U".- * Ilacad later won the round with 36 points, followed by Dy in second place with 21 points. Ilacad emerged as the winner of the first Battle of One Icon round.Round 7: Dia Maté and Rufa Mae Quinto were assigned to transform into Jennifer Lopez. Quinto was assigned the artist first with "On the Floor" as the song, followed by Maté with "Papi".
- * Only Maté was able to perform as Lopez and placed fifth in that round with 6 points, as Quinto was unable to proceed due to a medical emergency that occurred prior to her scheduled performance.
Prizes
The prize given to the weekly winner varied from season to season. In seasons 1 and 2, the weekly winner was given a trophy and a cash prize worth ₱100,000, half of which were donated to a charity chosen by the winner. In Season 3 the weekly winner was still given a trophy, however the cash prize was 50,000 pesos with none being donated to charity, likely due to the pandemic-induced restrictions at the time of the season.The Grand Prize is usually composed of a cash prize, a house and lot, and additional prizes, such as tickets to a particular destination. However, the cash prize varied from season to season. In seasons 1–2, the cash prize was worth ₱2,000,000 pesos, with half being donated to the winner's charity of choice. In Season 3 the cash prize was ₱4,000,000. In Season 4 the round receives to the winner of cash prize was ₱50,000.
Spin-off
On August 15, 2016, Crawford announced that the show will return with a third season; which was later on revealed as a spin-off entitled Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids at the ABS-CBN Trade Launch. On November 22, 2016, Ogie Alcasid, returned to ABS-CBN, and was revealed to be the newest addition to the show's judges, replacing Madela. The first season of the Kids edition premiered on January 7, 2017. It replaced the timeslot of Kapamilya Weekend Specials filler block, which temporarily filled the vacated timeslot of Pinoy Boyband Superstar after the said show concluded in December 2016. Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids has currently run for two seasons and produced two winners, Awra Briguela for its first season and TNT Boys for its second season.Hosts, Judges and mentors
Hosts
Billy Crawford served as the host of Your Face Sounds Familiar during the first two seasons. The winner of the first season, Melai Cantiveros, co-hosted the show along Crawford in season 2. However, since Crawford left ABS-CBN after the said network lost its franchise, Luis Manzano hosted the third season instead. For the fourth season, Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario will serve as the hosts.;Legend

The panel of judges in this show is called "The Jury". In each season there are usually three members of the jury.In an event that a sitting jury member cannot fulfill their duties for a particular week, a temporary replacement will take their place in that particular week.
