Tarasicodissa, an Isaurian officer, comes with evidence that Ardabur is forming a conspiracy against Leo I. Ardabur is arrested for treason.
Tarasicodissa adopts the Greek name of Zeno and marries Ariadne, eldest daughter of Leo I.
