Timing the release in sequential double ionization

Timing the release in sequential double ionization is a scholarly work by Ursula Keller, Reinhard Dörner, and Mathias Smolarski, published in 2011 in ''Nature Physics''. The main subjects of the publication include physics, molar ionization energies of the elements, atomic physics, elliptical polarization, ionization, mass spectrometry, attophysics, ion, argon, electron ionization, electron, low-energy electron diffraction, range, Double ionization, and laser. The authors found that the ionization time of the first electron is in good agreement with the simulation, whereas the ionization of the second electron occurs significantly earlier than predicted.
