The range of spectral integration
The range of spectral integration is a scholarly work, published in 1979 in ''Journal of the Acoustical Society of America''. The main subjects of the publication include computer science, acoustics, physics, absolute threshold of hearing, perceptual masking, critical band, Structural health monitoring, wideband, noise pollution, bandwidth, and uncertainty quantification. Although some earlier experiments suggest maximum effective widths as small as 180–200 Hz (around 1 kHz), the data reported here indicate the range of spectral integraton extends from the critical band to a maximum width that may exceed 3 kHz.
