Terence Everitt

Terence Jason Everitt is a Democratic member of the North [Carolina Senate] from the 18th district since 2025. He previously served as a member of the North Carolina [House of Representatives] from the 35th district from 2019 to 2025.

Career

Everitt unsuccessfully challenged Republican Chris [Malone |Chris Malone] in the November 2016 [North Carolina House of Representatives election#District 35|2016] election. In 2018 [North Carolina House of Representatives election#District 35|2018] Everitt sought a rematch with Malone and won by a margin of 51 percent to 46 percent. In 2020 [North Carolina House of Representatives election#District 35|2020], Everitt was re-elected by a margin of 50 to 45 percent over Republican challenger Fred Von Canon.
