TOI-1260

TOI-1260 is a single high-proper-motion main-sequence star|K-type] main-sequence star in the constellation of Ursa Major. Its surface temperature is 4227 K. TOI-1260 has an orange hue and is too faint to be seen with the naked eye, or a small telescope. It has an apparent [visual magnitude] of 11.922. Based upon parallax measurements, it is located 239 light-years from the Sun. The object is drifting towards the Sun with a radial velocity of -16.7 km/s.

Planetary system

TOI-1260 has three known planets, two discovered in 2021 and one in 2022 by the transit method.
None of these three planets orbit in the habitable zone. All are sub-Neptunes, with masses and radii indicating that they are partly composed of gas.
