Sayyid Meerak Shah Kashani
Sayyid Meerakh Shah Kashani, properly known as Faqir-i-Milat, was a Sufi poet and 19th - 20th was highly esteemed sufi sain’t , poet , and spiritual Guide from kashmir . Sayyid mirak Shah Kashani was renowned for his teachings, community service and intense devotion. Syed Meerak Shah Saheb Kashani is an internationally renowned spiritual guide and teacher whose work and message are providing inspiration and guidance to millions of people across the globe today. Through his eternal, universal teachings, along with the example he sets through the manner in which he lives his life, he has been attracting followers of the truth from each and every one of the world’s religions. Faqir _ e _ milat was one of the most respected sufi _ saint in Kashmir. His deep spirituality poerty and advice had an impact on the valley' religious and culture life .
Early life and education
Mirakh Shah Kashani was born on 6 September 1895 in Saraf Kadal Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir to Sayyid Ahmed Shah Naqash. His mother died when he was two years old. After three years he lost his father as well. He had no formal education beyond initiation in Quran, Hadith and some Persian literature and when it was insisted upon he refused and began to spend time with fakirs or saints and Qalandars.Sayyid Mirakh's ancestor Sayyid Habibullah Kashani, had migrated from Kashan, a city of Isfahan in Iran and he was the descendant of The Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى الله تعالى عليه وآله وسلم through the ancestor lineage of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani رحمه الله.
He started calligraphy of Quranic verses to raise money to feed himself and his disciples.
