Sangai International University
Sangai International University is a derecognized private university in the Churachandpur district of Manipur, India. It was delisted by the University Grants Commission of India in May 2024 for non-compliance after a Show Cause Notice was issued in December 2023. This means it is no longer on the UGC's official list of recognized universities and is prohibited from offering UGC-specified degrees at any level.
It was the first private university in the state and previously affiliated to UGC. Sangai International University was established in Manipur State by Act No. 6 of 2015.
