Rebecca Frith
Rebecca Frith is an Australian actress.
Career
Frith has appeared in several films, including quirky comedy Love Serenade alongside Miranda Otto, mystery thriller The Missing, Me Myself I with Rachel Griffiths, drama A Wreck A Tangle, romantic comedy Russian Doll opposite Hugo Weaving, and comedy A Man's Gotta Do. She also starred in the ABC television film Secret Bridesmaids' Business based on the play of the same name by Elizabeth Coleman. For her performance in the latter, she was nominated for the 2002 Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in a Supporting or Guest Role in a Television Drama.Her television credits include the 1989 TV movie Malpractice, a recurring role in the 2004 crime miniseries Through My Eyes, and recurring guest roles in medical defence series MDA and teen drama SLiDE. She has also had guest roles in medical dramas The Flying Doctors and A Country Practice, anthology series Six Pack, Law of the Land, medical drama G.P. and police procedural series Water Rats.
She has also appeared on stage in numerous productions for some of Australia's major theatre companies including Sydney Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre, Belvoir, Griffin Theatre Company and NIDA. Her credits include playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Natasha in Three Sisters, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Leura in Blue Murder, Abigail Williams in The Crucible and many more.
Frith is also a voice over artist, having voiced television commercials for the likes of the Queensland womens State of Origin team, a Queensland Government smoke alarms safety campaign and Wellgrove Olive Leaf Extract.
