As of 2011, Rasemar had a population of 1,351, living in 235 households. The population was 53.0% male and 47.0% female. The 0-6 age group numbered 204, accounting for 15.1% of the total population. Of the residents, 233 were members of Scheduled Castes, which made up 17.2% of the total population.
The 1981 census recorded Rasemar as having a population of 712 people, in 125 households.
The 1961 census recorded Rasemar as comprising 1 hamlet, with a total population of 419 people, in 73 households and 58 physical houses. The area of the village was given as 826 acres.

Infrastructure

As of 2011, Rasemar had 1 primary school; it did not have any healthcare facilities. Drinking water was provided by hand pump; there were no public toilets. The village had a post office and public library, as well as at least some access to electricity for all purposes. Streets were made of both kachcha and pakka materials.
