The nearest higher neighbor is Wilson Mountain, 1.79 miles to the southeast. The mountain's toponym has been officially adopted by the United States Board on Geographic Names.ClimateAccording to the Köppen climate classification system, Lost Wilson Mountain is located in a temperate semi-arid climate zone.
