Histological study of multinucleated giant cells in bone grafting
Histological study of multinucleated giant cells in bone grafting is a scholarly work, published in 1989 in ''Journal of Japanese Society of Periodontology''. The main subjects of the publication include pathology, dental implant, secreted phosphoprotein 1, chemistry, dentistry, ACP5, artificial bone, acid phosphatase, giant cell, foreign-body giant cell, osteoclast, anatomy, grafting, and multinucleate cell. Elicited multinucleated giant cells adhering to graft materials showed enzyme activities similar to those of osteoclasts, and it was suggested that artificial graft materials may be absorbed by osteoclasts.
