Event-related potentials and genetic risk for schizophrenia

Event-related potentials and genetic risk for schizophrenia is a scholarly work by Richard Coppola and Daniel R. Weinberger, published in 2001 in ''Biological Psychiatry''. The main subjects of the publication include schizophrenia, cognition, heart arrhythmia, neuroscience, developmental psychology, N100, electroencephalography, scalp, audiology, electrophysiology, psychosis, evoked potentials, psychology, Oddball paradigm, P200, schizophrenia, auditory system, and event-related potential. In line with previous studies, the P300 amplitude in schizophrenic patients was decreased over the left temporoparietal area; however, authors found no evidence for a genetic trait effect in the event-related potential abnormality.
