Constancy of physiological dead space during high-frequency ventilation is a scholarly work, published in 1982 in ''Respiration Physiology''. The main subjects of the publication include respiration, biology, anaesthesia, medicine, chemistry, arterial blood, volume (thermodynamics), respiratory minute volume, tidal volume, dead space, PCO2, therapeutic hypothermia, mechanical ventilation, respiratory system, and ventilation. It was found this value remained remarkably constant for each individual rabbit over a range of ventilatory frequencies from 1 to 22 Hz.
