Albert Sustainable Production Certification

Albert Sustainable Production Certification is a certification for a film or television production's efforts to reduce waste and its carbon footprint. As a result, they can display the Albert Sustainable Production logo at the end of their credits.
In 2010, the BAFTA Albert Consortium created a carbon footprint calculator for TV programmes, called Albert. The effects on the environment of productions was recorded but the findings could not help to reduce the impact. Therefore, Albert certification was created, as a way to encourage productions to divert waste from landfill, engage senior leaders and address energy efficiency.
