This moth is found in Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Algeria. Its habitat include waste grounds, woodland fringes and hedgerows.
