2023 World Baseball Classic rosters
The 2023 World Baseball Classic was an international professional baseball competition, composed of 20 competing nations, held from March 8 to March 21, 2023. It was the fifth iteration of the World Baseball Classic. The first-round hosts cities were Taichung, Tokyo, Phoenix, and Miami. The second-round hosts were Miami and Tokyo, and the championship round was played in Miami.
Twenty teams competed in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The tournament was expanded from 16 to 20 teams, with all teams that participated in the 2017 edition automatically qualifying, plus four additional spots. Participating nations had to submit their final 30-man rosters no later than February 7, 2023. WBC rules required teams to carry at least 14 pitchers and two catchers on their rosters. If applicable, the club listed is the club a player was with at the start of the tournament.
