Zhan Jian

Zhan Jian is a Chinese-born Singaporean table tennis player. He competed for Singapore in the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's team|men's team event] at the 2012 Summer Olympics. At the Table tennis at the [2014 Commonwealth Games|2014 Commonwealth Games], he won the men's individual table tennis, beating teammate Gao Ning 4 - 0 in the final. He was also part of the Singaporean men's team that won gold. In the men's doubles, he and teammate Yang [Zi (table tennis)|Yang Zi] missed out on the final and could only win bronze.
In 2015, Zhang retired from table tennis after a recurring elbow injury.
