It was described in 1981 by Australian arachnologist Robert Raven.Distribution and habitatThe species occurs in north-eastern New South Wales. The type locality is Newee Creek Road, near Macksville in the Nambucca River valley.BehaviourThe spiders are terrestrial predators.
