Wojtal


Wojtal is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czersk, within Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is located within the historic region of Pomerania.

History

Wojtal was a royal village of the Polish Crown, administratively located in the Tuchola County in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
During the German occupation of Poland, in 1940, the occupiers carried out expulsions of Poles, who were deported to the General Government, while their farms were then handed over to German colonists as part of the Lebensraum policy.
