Winny (singer)
Winny is a Nigerian singer and songwriter whose music style blends elements of reggae, R&B, and Afropop. She gained recognition through her debut EP Winny and her follow-up project Commercial Break. In 2023, she was selected for Apple Music’s Up Next artist development program in Nigeria.
Early life
Winny was born in Benue State, Nigeria, and raised in Jos. She began her musical journey in 2014 and cites Jamaican artists Chronixx and Kranium, as well as Nigerian singer Wizkid, as significant influences on her sound.
