Windsor, South Carolina
Windsor is a town in Aiken County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 121 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.
History
The name of the town of Windsor likely originated from the 1813 will of Anderson Windsor, who owned land on Pond Branch and Yarrow Branch, near the present location of Windsor.Geography

As of the census of 2000, there were 127 people, 52 households, and 34 families residing in the town. The population density was. There were 63 housing units at an average density of. The racial makeup of the town was 69.29% White, 27.56% African American, 2.36% Native American, 0.79% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.36% of the population.There were 52 households, out of which 36.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% were married couples living together, 9.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.6% were non-families. 28.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 3.09.
