Wild Horse, Nevada


Wild Horse is an unincorporated community in Elko County, Nevada, United States. It is located along Nevada State Route 225 just south of Wild Horse Reservoir, from which it derives its name.

Climate

According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Wild Horse has a warm-summer mediterranean continental climate, abbreviated "Dsb" on climate maps. The hottest temperature recorded in Wild Horse was on July 23, 2003, while the coldest temperature recorded was on December 23, 1990 and February 3, 1996.
