White Cliffs, New Mexico


White Cliffs is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in McKinley County, New Mexico, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 371.

Geography

The community is in the western part of the county, northeast of Gallup, the county seat, and west of Church Rock. The CDP takes its name from a set of cliffs that rise to the north.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the White Cliffs CDP has an area of, all land. The community is bordered to the east by the Puerco River, which flows southwest into Gallup and ultimately joins the Little Colorado River near Holbrook, Arizona.
