Visitors to Dominica normally do not require a visa, unless they are nationals of the Dominican Republic or Haiti.

As of 1 October, 2025 the four nations of: The Commonwealth of Dominica, Barbados, Belize, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines offer the right of indefinite stay for their aforementioned citizens.

  • 25 July 2013: for 6 months: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.
  • 20 November 2014: for 3 months: Brazil
  • 19 March 2015: for 28 days: Cuba
  • 21 May 2015: for 90 days: Uruguay
  • 13 August 2015: for 6 months: Croatia and Switzerland
  • 18 February 2016: for 6 months: Iceland and Liechtenstein
  • 14 January 2019: for 90 days: Russia

Nationals of France with ID card can visit visa free for a maximum stay of 2 weeks.
Nationals of Germany and United Kingdom with ID Card can visit visa-free for a maximum stay of 1 week.
