Upper Sûre Natural Park


The Upper Sûre Natural Park is a national park in the Éislek region of north-western Luxembourg.

Environment

The heart of the park is the Upper Sûre Lake, the largest area of water in Luxembourg. It is primarily an area of conservation and a specially protected area for wild birds. The park has been designated an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International because it supports significant populations of hazel grouse, black storks, ospreys, European honey-buzzards and middle spotted woodpeckers.
