UNCOVER

UNCOVER is a deep-sky near-infrared survey programme for the James Webb Space Telescope. "UNCOVER" is an involuted acronym which includes portions of the acronyms of its two instruments, NIRSpec and NIRCam, thus: Ultradeep NIRSpec and NIRCam ObserVations before the Epoch of Reionization.
The JWST UNCOVER Treasury Survey saw first light on 2022 November with that of Pandora's Cluster, its current subject, and in 2025 imaged the most distant gravitionally lensed black hole found to date: QSO1.
