Turum peopleTurum is an ethnic group in South Kurdufan in Sudan. They speak Tagoi, a Niger–Congo language. The population of this group is around 2,600.The main religion is Islam.Society and living conditionsTurum communities depend largely on rain‑fed agriculture, livestock rearing and access to limited water sources in an environment marked by recurrent drought and resource competition.
