Trevillian Island
Trevillian Island is a small, oval, humped island 1 nautical mile south of Nost Island in Holme Bay, Mac. [Robertson Land]. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars [Christensen Expedition], 1936–37, and named Rundoy. Renamed by Antarctic [Names Committee of Australia] for T. Trevillian, draftsman with the Division of National Mapping, Dept. of National Development, Canberra, who for a number of years was responsible for the compilation of maps for ANARE.
