The racial makeup of Traver was 183 White, 4 African American, 15 Native American, 1 Asian, 0 Pacific Islander, 412 from other races, and 116 from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 647 persons.The whole population lived in households. There were 173 households, out of which 95 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 98 were married-couple households, 12 were cohabiting couple households, 37 had a female householder with no partner present, and 26 had a male householder with no partner present. 12 households were one person, and 8 were one person aged 65 or older.
