Thomas Volgy
Thomas John Volgy is a professor of political science at the University of Arizona, where he has been on faculty since 1971. He is also the Executive Director of the International Studies Association.
He is a former member of the Tucson, Arizona City Council and was Mayor of Tucson 1987-1991. In the United States House of Representatives elections, 1998 he was the Democratic Party's candidate in Arizona's 5th congressional district.
He is a graduate of Oakland University and the University of Minnesota.
