The effect of auditory input on cerebral laterality is a scholarly work, published in 1981 in ''Brain and Language''. The main subjects of the publication include cognitive psychology, sign language, laterality, Linguistics and Language, lateralization of brain function, psychology, hemispatial neglect, audiology, developmental psychology, and cerebral hemisphere. The analyses indicated the deaf children were faster than the hearing children in overall processing efficiency, and that they performed differently in regard to hemispheric lateralization.
