Tennessee statistical areas

The U.S. currently has 34 Statistical [area (United States)|statistical areas] that have been delineated by the Office of [Management and Budget]. On July 21, 2023, the OMB delineated seven combined statistical areas, ten metropolitan statistical areas, and 17 micropolitan statistical areas in Tennessee. As of 2023, the largest of these is the Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro, [TN CSA|Nashville-Davidson--Murfreesboro, TN CSA], comprising the area around the state capital of Nashville.
