Technique for generating submicrometer ultra high molecular weight polyethylene particles
Technique for generating submicrometer ultra high molecular weight polyethylene particles is a scholarly work, published in 1996 in ''Journal of Orthopaedic Research''. The main subjects of the publication include composite material, materials science, particle size, particle, filtration, hip replacement surgery, polyethylene, debris, arthroplasty, and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. The authors have described a technique to fracture the GUR 4150 primary ultra high molecular weight polyethylene grain, which reproducibly generated particles less than 1 μm in size.
