Takeley F.C.


Takeley Football Club is an English football club based in Takeley, Essex. The club are currently members of the, which sits at step 4. Takeley were promoted to the Step 4 football on the 3rd May after beating Woodford Town 2-0 in the playoff final in front of a record crowd of 1,003 people. Takeley will be in the Isthmian North League for the 25/26 season. Takeley FC play at the Full Vision Stadium, Station Road, Takeley.
Takeley FC is managed by Kieran Amos. With the club captain being Glenn O'Hanlon and the vice captain being Charlie Wardle.

History

The club was established in 1903, and joined the Essex Olympian League in 1978. They won the league in 1987–88 and 2001–02, and in 2006–07, won the Essex Premier Cup. After finishing as runners-up in 2007–08, the club was accepted into the Essex Senior League, finishing third in their first season. They also achieved third-place finishes in 2011-12 and 2012–13.
