Tahir Hameed Shah

Lieutenant General Syed Tahir Hameed Shah is a senior three-star general in the Pakistan Army, currently serving as the Chairman of Pakistan Ordnance Factories at Wah Cantt.

Military career

He was commissioned into the Pakistan Army through the 82nd PMA Long Course and joined the 60 Medium Regiment Artillery.
In 2018, he was promoted from Brigadier General to Major general. As a major general, his notably served as Director General of Weapons & Equipment at GHQ. He also served as GOC of the 16th Infantry Division.
In 2023, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. As per 2025, he is serving as Chairman of the Ordnance Factory.
