Novisuccinea ovalis, commonly called the oval ambersnail, is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Succineidae, the ambersnails.

Distribution and habitat

This species occurs in eastern and central North America, throughout the United States and Canada along river systems. It is considered extirpated from Mississippi.
