Situated Learning


Situated Learning is a scholarly work by Étienne Wenger and Jean Lave, published in 1991. The main subjects of the publication include sociocultural evolution, sociology, community of practice, pedagogy, social learning, Situated learning, psychology, process, Situated, and on-the-job training. The authors maintain that learning viewed as situated activity has as its central defining characteristic a process they call legitimate peripheral participation (LPP).
