Gavere is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of, Baaigem,, Gavere, and. In 2021, Gavere had a total population of 13,007. The total area is 31.35 km2.

The Cyclo-cross Gavere is a notable cyclo-cross race held in Gavere in the vicinity of the Grenier castle. The race has been part of the Superprestige as well as UCI [Cyclo-cross World Cup].
