Sanjay Krishnamurthi


Sanjay Prasad Krishnamurthi is an American international cricketer who plays for the United States national [cricket team|United States cricket team] as an all-rounder. He represents the San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket.
Alongside cricket, he is also a software engineer, having completed a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at the San Jose State University in 2025.

Career

In June 2021, he was selected to take part in the Minor League Cricket tournament for the Bay Blazers following the players' draft.
In September 2021, Sanjay was named as a reserve player in the United States' One Day International squad for the Oman Tri-Nation Series (round 6)|2021 Oman Tri-Nation Series]. Following an injury to team-mate Aaron Jones, he was added to the main ODI squad for the tour. He made his ODI debut on September 13, 2021 against Nepal.
On July 8, 2024, Sanjay made his Twenty20 debut for the San Francisco Unicorns in the Major League Cricket tournament against the Los Angeles Knight Riders.
He made his Twenty20 International debut for the United States on February 20, 2025 against Oman.
In 2025, Sanjay made his Nepal Premier League representing the Janakpur Bolts. He also made his International League T20 debut in the 2025–26 season for MI Emirates replacing injured Tajinder Dhillon.
