Sandqvist objects
In 1976, as an adjunct to work measuring microwave signals of formaldehyde, Aage Sandqvist and Lukas Lindroos produced a catalogue of 42 "dark" nebulæ in the southern celestial hemisphere. They reported microwave observations on 27 of these objects, noting mean temperatures of 1.9 to 2.2 K and a variety of other microwave parameters.
In 1977 Sandqvist added a further 95 entries to the catalogue.
